Reconnecting or Mid-Life Crises?
Well in this month of January 2009, we have sworn in our first elected African American President to lead our great country and I have found a new place to surf on the net. Yes, life is good.
Facebook is that a great invention or what? Myspace is great, but you need an armor truck to run down all the ads. You also need a full time trainer to show you what link to click to make your page. Ok, some of us do. I am so glad I have smart kids. I used to be smart, but the older my kids get the dumber I become…I only thought that happened to my parents.
Anyway, get back to why I am on here today. I have a question? Are you really trying to reconnect with old friends or are you having some kind of mid-life crises? See I’m thinking we were all thinking the same thing. I mean I am on Facebook for one day and bam…I started reconnecting with old friends one right after another. I know I am not the only one. All of the ones I have connected with have had the same results. Ok, I admit it has been fun. When I see someone on Facebook that I haven’t seen since I graduated, I remember something funny that happened from the past. Has this happened to you? And the pictures even the old ones are great to see.
Ok, for all of you reading this, think about it. Why did we all of a sudden start reconnecting with old and new friends around the world? I know Facebook has been around for a couple of years. So why now?
Just to let you know, I am doing both, reconnecting to the past while having a mid-life crisis. At least that is what Jeff tells me.
Don’t forget to holler back ya here,
Charlene
